Yard Associate - West Jordan

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers (approximately 70% of daily expectations)
• Manually sort and stage material in the yard (approximately 30% of daily expectations)
• Safely operate a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments
• Receive and put away inbound material
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
• Pull and prepare orders, packaging for shipment
• Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) on occasion
• Forklift experience (sit‑down) highly desired
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions required
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Experience with building materials a plus

Pay

Competitive pay range of $20.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule, day shift
