About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seek a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He/she will need to operate a Wheel Loader, Skid Steer and a Forktruck to load and unload tractor trailers with heavy industrial Ground Protection mats. There will also be general housekeeping responsibilities, pressure washing, inventory, etc.
Responsibilities
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred. Most Specifically Wheel Loaders, Skid Steer and Fork Truck.
- Experience loading and unloading equipment on to trucks and strapping them down.
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
- General mechanical aptitude
- safety-focus
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
Qualifications
Lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
