Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as necessary, and inspecting equipment before and after rental.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule
• Service equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Effective communication, basic math skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, general mechanical aptitude, safety focus, bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
• Physical Demands: Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors/outdoors when required by the job

Qualifications

• Education or experience that prepares you for success: High school diploma or GED preferred

• General mechanical aptitude

• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Pay

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 23.72
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
