Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for:

• Stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintaining a written maintenance schedule.
• Servicing equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications.
• Inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.

Education or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repairing mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills, communication, and working with the Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
• A general mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands

• The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the job requirements.

Base Pay Range

Base pay range for the position is $17.75 - $23.72 per hour, with starting rates varying based on factors such as position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
