Job Summary

Porter / Yard Worker – The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location’s property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as needed, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any loss or damage.

Key Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location’s property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule.
• Service equipment as necessary to ensure it meets specifications.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Effective communication with customers, both written and oral.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety‑focused mindset.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.
