Yard Associate

About the role

InProduction is the leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the U.S. live events industry. The Company partners with event organizers throughout the entire venue transformation process, offering core services including design and fabrication, delivery and installation, on-site execution, and tear down. These services span golf, motorsports, music festivals, sports & entertainment, and corporate events. InProduction is backed by ZMC, a private equity firm focused on operational value creation in media and communications enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by physically checking products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack, and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
• Inspect machinery to determine repair needs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, place and secure them onto pallets
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment needing maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Maintain clean and properly stored tools and equipment at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
• Occasionally assist on local job sites with building, tearing down structures, and loading trucks
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Forklift License (required)
• Current valid driver’s license (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to travel occasionally to U.S. construction sites
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and industrial equipment
• Ability to work overtime occasionally
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions
• Forklift experience and license (preferred)
• Experience loading and unloading trucks (flat-beds and/or trailers preferred)
• Small engine repair and maintenance skills (preferred but not required)
• Able to stand continuously for long periods
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs

Work Environment

• Exposed to excessive noise
• Around moving machinery
• Exposed to dust
• May be required to work outdoors
• Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may be required

Pay

$21 hourly
