About the role

Execute the following responsibilities to deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales growth in a fragrance-filled retail store environment.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Create a welcoming store environment, understand guest needs through product knowledge, and make emotional connections. Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies and building lasting customer relationships to enhance loyalty. Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in maintaining store appearance by following company visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Team Experience: Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team aligned with Newell Brand Values: Passion for Winning, Integrity, Leadership, Ownership, and Teamwork. Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
• Operational Experience: Support inventory management activities, control expenses, and incorporate safety and loss prevention measures into daily activities. Follow company policies and Code of Ethics. Strive to achieve or exceed all KPI goals through strategic planning, effective execution, and continuous performance improvement.

Requirements

• High School completion or equivalent GED.
• Proven experience in a retail environment (1+ years preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.

Pay

The base pay range for this position in New York is $17.00 to $21.25 per hour, depending on prior experience related to the required skills.
