Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) Field Service Foreman

About the role

The Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) Field Service Foreman manages multiple teams of Field Service Technicians, travel, daily work schedules, tooling, and reports on their activities. This position requires managing day-to-day activities for field service teams, traveling to jobsites to assess scope of work, communicating with customers, planning tech daily work schedules, preparing reports, interacting with project managers, general contractors, and site contacts, ensuring service team has necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, repair parts, and tracking Yancey Bros. Co. resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities for field service teams comprised of Technicians, Team Leads, and a Coordinator.
• Travel as needed to jobsites to assess scope of work and communicate with customers.
• Determine tooling and personnel requirements.
• Plan tech daily work schedule.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on job statuses.
• Interact with Project Managers, General Contractors, and site contacts for scope of work, and on-site safety.
• Ensure Service Team has necessary PPE, tools, repair parts, and track/account for Yancey Bros. Co. resources.
• Manage CX Alloy and other vendor applications for tracking and completion of site reported issues for Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) products.
• Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical experience in the industry.
• A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Problem solving, communication, Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) manufacturing knowledge/experience of product, attention to detail, adaptability, technical skills, conflict resolution, decision making, self-motivation, measurement skills, intermediate computer skills (Microsoft suite), qualified driving record, Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) quality inspection training.
• Must complete Yancey Bros. Co. and Industry Safety Training Requirements, Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES) Technical and assembly training, and submit to customer security requirements including but not limited to additional background checks, drug tests, and provide additional identification.

Qualifications

• Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions: Occasional pushing/pulling, reaching (above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing; occasionally lift/carry/lower 1-50 lbs, seldom lift/carry/lower 50-75 lbs, never lift/carry/lower +75 lbs; must be able to travel 70% to job sites in state and out of state; may be subject to extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice; equipment, tools, and job site may be very loud requiring hearing protection; environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, exposure to electrical shock, flammable liquids and gases, oils and solvents, working on platforms or equipment over 4 feet from the ground; appropriate PPE may be required and mandated by Yancey Bros. Co. or the customer.
