About the role

Cox Automotive Retail Solutions is seeking a self-starter, go-getter, and dealmaker to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with extensive travel requirements within the North West Central Territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and successfully close complex sales opportunities using the Cox Auto selling approach.
  • Provide feedback to clients on industry trends, strategies, and challenges through consultative selling techniques.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to build consensus for Cox Automotive Retail Solutions products within their organization.
  • Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
  • Demonstrate key advantages of the Xtime solution to the customer.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales goals.
  • Backfill open territories or existing territories, as needed.
  • Develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers.
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers at the dealership, Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
  • Travel frequently (70% or more) in designated sales territories and divisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and 4 years' experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, especially automotive dealerships, and the F&I process.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, collaboration, sales, and territory management skills.
  • Ability to use and interpret research and data to help customers find opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with an energetic, engaging personality.
  • Ability to travel up to 60 - 75% in the assigned territory (region).

Pay

USD 78,500.00 - 117,700.00 per year. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $85,000.00.

Schedule

The role requires frequent travel (70% or more) in the assigned territory (North West Central Territory states: Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Northern Kansas).
