Xray Technician, Per Diem

About the role

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level and not requiring constant supervision. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist.
• Affirms patient privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
• Assesses patients’ age-specific needs and provides appropriate care and treatment.
• Operates and maintains equipment used in radiographic procedures.
• Documents patient information accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NJ License/DEP required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $50.94 to $50.94 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Schedule

Flex schedule available, with weekday and/or weekend availability preferred. 2 Saturdays per month are required.
