About the role

This Xray Technician role is an on-site position located in Red Bank, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging exams as ordered by providers, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, position patients and equipment, operate radiology machinery, and ensure image quality for accurate interpretation.
• Maintain imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, update patient records in the practice's systems, and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• Formal training in radiologic technology and competency in performing standard orthopedic X-ray exams.
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices, proper patient positioning, and operation of digital imaging equipment.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple exams efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to support a positive patient experience.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort working with electronic health records or imaging systems.
• Previous experience in an orthopedic or outpatient clinical setting is preferred but not required.
• Must possess NJ State license and ARRT certification.
