XR UX Engineering Manager

About the role

Lead a team of UX Engineers working on a spectrum of XR devices, from glasses to VR headsets. Foster a culture of technical excellence and creative problem-solving, guiding the team to transform complex conceptual ideas into functional, high-fidelity prototypes that define the future of XR interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of UX Engineers to implement front-end solutions.
• Explore product concepts to find directions that address both human and business needs.
• Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers.
• Deliver innovative and engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a technical, UX, or design environment.
• 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and programming languages (e.g., C#, Kotlin, or JavaScript).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing programs.

Skills

• Technical expertise in front-end development.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with UX designers and researchers.
• Experience with XR device development.

Pay

$188,000 - $275,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
