x3 Housing Assistants Nights - Women's Housing Related Support Services - 20hrs

20 hours per week, permanent night-shift position. Hours vary across a rolling rota, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a programme of intensive housing management to service users referred into the HRS in accordance with housing benefit support exemption requirements.
• Deliver housing management within a service supporting individuals with complex needs who suffer severe and multiple disadvantages, to immediately prevent or resolve homelessness and enable them to develop sufficient, independent living skills in order to move on, sustain a tenancy, and live fulfilling lives.
• Engage with service users on a weekly basis to support individuals in maintaining and achieving independent living in the community.
• Provide a high-quality service, ensuring outstanding customer service and delivery by acting as an ambassador for Humbercare and as a point of contact for customers.
• Engage with service users to design services tailored to their needs and utilize local resources to make a real, quality difference in their lives.

Requirements

Essential

• Educated to Level 2 Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a social care or similar environment.
• Knowledge of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care Principles and Practice.
• Knowledge of statutory and voluntary support agencies.
• Working knowledge of person-centred, strengths-based approaches to support and care planning.
• Experience of working with others to achieve successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Team working experience, including working cooperatively with colleagues in complex, pressurized situations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

Desirable

• Willingness to work towards a recognised housing, care, or support qualification.
