About the role

Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process for the Area of Responsibility (AOR), defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support build strategy and key event schedule. Manage the Unit Outfitting Hall and ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance within contract specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Identify and expedite resolution of design, material, grouping, scheduling, manpower, or other issues that could jeopardize critical‑path work.
• Liaise with trades’ management to control cost performance, determine overtime requirements, and manage cost drivers.
• Assess growth work and contract‑funded point changes to ensure funding authorization and schedule integration.
• Identify impacts and potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
• Perform inspections, including preliminary structural, tank/void, yard final, release of concealing materials, compartment and system turnover, and test inspections.
• Document discrepancies, issue corrective actions, and track resolutions.
• Assess safety risks within the AOR and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Full‑time, 1st‑shift position.
• No relocation assistance, telework, travel, or security clearance required.
• Either:
  • 5 years Construction Supervisor 2 experience and PMI or equivalent project‑management certification; or
  • BS/Apprentice degree plus 8 years combined construction management and production management experience (including a minimum of 4 years construction/production management and 4 years exempt experience in planning, production control, engineering, construction/project, or merchant marine) and PMI or equivalent project‑management certification.

Pay

Salary range: $116,000.00 to $144,000.00 (estimated base pay; final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors).

Schedule

Full‑time, 1st shift.
