X-Ray Tech - Urgent Care Moss Bluff (PRN)

General Summary of Duties

• Ensure that patient, referring physician, and radiologist needs are met.
• Ensure that all duties are performed in an efficient manner and in compliance with regulations.
• Perform X-ray procedures.
• Log patients and exams performed each day.
• Assist receptionists as needed.
• Maintain equipment performance and notify the supervisor of any repair assistance needed.
• Call patients a day before their procedure to remind them of their appointment. Ensure the patient knows where to go, how long it will take, necessary prep instructions, and answer any questions.

Requirements

• Louisiana State Rad Tech license.
