Ideal for technologists seeking supplemental income, additional hours, or a flexible work schedule. Position Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standardsReview patient medical histories and verify physician orders prior to examinationsExplain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understandingProperly position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal diagnostic imagesOperate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection guidelinesEvaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completenessAssist radiologists with procedures, including arthrograms, as neededMaintain accurate patient documentation and examination recordsCollaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure efficient patient careAssist with other imaging departments and operational needs as appropriateMaintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms Minimum Qualifications Current ARRT(R) certification – RequiredCurrent Florida Radiologic Technologist license – RequiredCurrent BLS certification – RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 1 year of clinical radiologic technology experience preferredStrong patient care, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout scheduled shiftsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to safely position and assist patients during imaging procedures What We're Looking For Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethicCompassionate and patient-focusedPositive, professional, and team-orientedExcellent communication and time management skillsComfortable working in a busy outpatient imaging environmentCommitted to delivering exceptional patient experiences About Precision Imaging Centers Precision Imaging Centers is a leading outpatient diagnostic imaging provider serving Northeast and Central Florida, with locations throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Orlando.
