X-Ray Tech (Level I)

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography and inspection of castings, sample parts, and structural members for flaws, cracks, or presence of foreign materials and process related deviations.
• Process parts, document results, and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after X-Ray inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standards and customer requirements.
• Advance into and successfully achieve Level II certification.
• Receive guidance or supervision from a certified Level II or Level III.
• Operate X-Ray and film processing equipment.
• Comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school diploma or GED certificate.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing and/or NDT experience/training.
• Necessity for availability for all shifts (including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift).
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Requirement for a perfect attendance record (no occurrences).
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
