About the role

Join a patient-centered orthopedic practice where you'll work alongside experienced physicians using modern imaging technology to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using Fusion One PACS
• Position patients safely and accurately for imaging procedures
• Explain procedures and provide compassionate patient care
• Review clinical information with physicians prior to imaging
• Evaluate image quality before submission for interpretation
• Document imaging information in the EMR and PACS systems
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and best practices
• Assist patients with transfers and positioning
• Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms
• Sterilize equipment using an autoclave
• Help manage clinical inventory and supplies
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to ensure outstanding patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (Required)
• Active Delaware Radiologic Technologist License
• Experience with PACS imaging systems
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and assist patients throughout the workday while safely operating imaging equipment.
