X-Ray Tech

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using the Fusion One PACS imaging system
• Position patients accurately while ensuring comfort and safety
• Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions with compassion
• Review clinical information with physicians before imaging studies
• Evaluate image quality prior to submission for interpretation
• Accurately document imaging studies in the EMR and PACS systems
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards
• Assist patients with transfers and positioning during exams
• Process imaging requests and coordinate medical imaging records
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment
• Sterilize equipment using an autoclave and maintain clinical supplies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide outstanding patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (Required)
• Active Delaware Radiologic Technologist License
• Experience with PACS imaging systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
