X-ray Senior Technologist (Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist)

About the Role

The X-ray Sr Technol Spec (Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist) provides technical assistance under a physician's direction in cardiac, vascular, and neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and monitors procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy.
• Participates in equipment maintenance, supply management, and ordering.
• Adheres to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Recognizes safety issues, reports equipment dysfunction, and collaborates to create a safe environment.
• Communicates effectively during handoffs and follows standardized communication policies.
• Requires on-call responsibilities and participation in safety training.
• Adheres to institutional policies and promotes a respectful, inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Completion of AMA-approved radiological technology training.
• Licensed in Ohio, ARRT registered.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in special and cardiovascular procedures.
• Current CPR certification.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand frequently.
