X-Ray Radiology Technologist - Full-Time

Role Overview Seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting radiographic examinations independently, and providing high-quality patient care with professionalism. The position requires an Associate degree or higher in a related field and certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Experience in GI & Surgery procedures is preferred, but new grads and students are welcome to apply. Additional certifications such as CPR are advantageous. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment; inform patients about procedures with excellent customer service.Perform radiographic imaging exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures. Skills & Qualifications Education: Associate degree or equivalent.Licenses: Valid radiology technologist certification; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI).Experience: Preferably 2+ years; no experience acceptable for entry-level applicants.Certifications: CPR and other relevant credentials.
