About the role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist with grading assignments and exams across multiple classes and support other course-related tasks as needed. This role offers a strong opportunity to build experience, strengthen academic skills, and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grading assignments, quizzes, and exams for multiple classes under instructor guidance
• Support course organization (attendance tracking, uploading materials to LMS, preparing handouts)
• Help instructors with classroom needs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Provide student support by answering questions and clarifying instructions when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with instructors about progress, student concerns, and grading updates
• Take on additional duties as assigned that contribute to course and department success

Requirements

• Must be a current UPIKE student in good standing
