Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Writer / Communications Specialist with a strong background in marketing, digital content, and corporate communications. This part-time role will support the development of clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messaging across a range of internal and external channels.

Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Develop clear, engaging copy for digital, print, and presentation formats

  • Write and edit content for web, email, campaigns, internal communications, and training materials

  • Translate technical, product, or business content into compelling narratives

  • Work collaboratively with internal / external creative project managers, project leads, production SME’s etc.

  • Help interpret brief for relevance and accuracy

  • Messaging and Brand Voice: Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all channels

  • Align content to brand standards and audience needs

  • Support messaging frameworks for campaigns and initiatives

  • Ensure our ANA Content Styleguide is accurately applied to internal copy assignments

  • Content Adaption / Localization: Adapt and refine content for multiple markets and languages

  • Partner with localization teams to ensure intent and tone are preserved

  • Optimize content for accessibility and readability standards (WCAG)

  • File Management And Quality Control: Manage digital files, ensuring proper organization, version control, and adherence to project timelines

  • Conduct quality control checks on both digital and physical assets to ensure the final product meets the highest standards

  • Utilize production management too (Workfront, Mondays, etc.) to route proofs and final files named within the job for publishing

  • Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality design output

  • Balance work across digital and print projects, adjusting priorities as needed to meet the creative team's needs

  • Independently resolve problems, perform tasks and deliver assets on-time

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Experience

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Strong understanding of digital content best practices (web, email, SEO basics)

  • Experience developing content for multiple channels and audiences

  • Familiarity with brand voice development and messaging strategy

  • Knowledge of accessibility / WCAG content standards (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work within ambiguity and bring clarity through messaging

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and deadline-driven

  • Experience working within content workflows and project management tools
