Writer Communications Specialist (35348)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Writer / Communications Specialist with a strong background in marketing, digital content, and corporate communications. This part-time role will support the development of clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messaging across a range of internal and external channels.
Responsibilities
Content Development: Develop clear, engaging copy for digital, print, and presentation formats
Write and edit content for web, email, campaigns, internal communications, and training materials
Translate technical, product, or business content into compelling narratives
Work collaboratively with internal / external creative project managers, project leads, production SME’s etc.
Help interpret brief for relevance and accuracy
Messaging and Brand Voice: Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all channels
Align content to brand standards and audience needs
Support messaging frameworks for campaigns and initiatives
Ensure our ANA Content Styleguide is accurately applied to internal copy assignments
Content Adaption / Localization: Adapt and refine content for multiple markets and languages
Partner with localization teams to ensure intent and tone are preserved
Optimize content for accessibility and readability standards (WCAG)
File Management And Quality Control: Manage digital files, ensuring proper organization, version control, and adherence to project timelines
Conduct quality control checks on both digital and physical assets to ensure the final product meets the highest standards
Utilize production management too (Workfront, Mondays, etc.) to route proofs and final files named within the job for publishing
Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality design output
Balance work across digital and print projects, adjusting priorities as needed to meet the creative team's needs
Independently resolve problems, perform tasks and deliver assets on-time
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Experience
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong understanding of digital content best practices (web, email, SEO basics)
Experience developing content for multiple channels and audiences
Familiarity with brand voice development and messaging strategy
Knowledge of accessibility / WCAG content standards (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work within ambiguity and bring clarity through messaging
Self-motivated, highly organized, and deadline-driven
Experience working within content workflows and project management tools
