Wrestling, Head Coach/Boys position at Golden Gate High School for the WIN season. Full-time equivalent (FTE) 1.00.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
- One reference letter (not required for current CCPS staff).
- Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification required. Coaches holding a current teaching certification are exempt from obtaining an athletic coaching certification.
- Completion of a Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).
- Information on Athletic Coaching Certification: https://www.collierschools.com/Page/1112. The Florida Department of Education issues two types: 3‑Year Temporary Certificate (issued only to allow completion of requirements for the 5‑Year Certificate; not renewable) and 5‑Year Athletic Coaching Certificate.
- Who needs the Athletic Coaching Certification:
- Coaches paid a supplement from the school district who do NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
- Volunteer coaches who are employees of Collier County Public Schools but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
