Wrestling Coach

About the role

The Wrestling Coach position at Liberty County High School is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive wrestling program that promotes physical fitness, sportsmanship, and academic success among students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a wrestling program that aligns with the school's mission and vision.
• Train and supervise student athletes in wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, competitions, and travel arrangements.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director and other coaches to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment for student athletes.
• Collaborate with teachers and counselors to integrate wrestling into the curriculum and support student learning.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of coaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience working with young athletes and managing teams.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule
