Requirements
- High School diploma or College Degree required
- Updated First Aid and CPR training required
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Must have the ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic Director
- Must be able to relate well to students, parents, school personnel and the general public
- Must be knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations
- CAP 1 Class through MHSAA preferred
- Must strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanship
Responsibilities
- Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport
- Demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport
- Develop, promote and supervise all facets of your team and sport
- Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport
- Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used
- Prepare and execute practice and game plans and strategies designed to bring success to the program
- Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times
- Any other duties as assigned by the Athletic Department
