About the role
The Attendant/Ranger greets guests in the parking lot, assists with unloading golf bags, and performs all standard attendant and ranger duties on the course.
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent guest service at all times—promptly acknowledging and greeting guests, and offering informative, knowledgeable assistance to ensure satisfaction.
- Performs assigned job functions in the golf course, golf cart fleet, or pro shop.
- Assists pro-shop guests with golf-play information, purchases, and payments.
- Keeps supplies organized and stocked, including carts, rental equipment, and restrooms.
- Provides guidance and training to seasonal, part-time, and summer youth employees.
- Maintains all work and common areas in an attractive, neat, and clean condition.
- Promotes and follows workplace safety practices; reports broken items or hazardous areas immediately to the Golf Pro.
- Demonstrates and enforces golf-course rules and regulations.
- Ensures equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely.
- Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policies and procedures, and safety codes.
- Models internal guest-service standards through courteous, respectful behavior.
- Keeps the Golf Pro informed of any unusual situations or concerns.
- Performs other golf-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Familiarity with golf activities.
- Courteous, personable, and professional in customer relations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays; must be reliable.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods and perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude toward employees and guests.
- Must pass a criminal-history background check.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED, or ten years of relevant experience.
