Wrapper Yard/Warehouse

About the role

Performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

Responsibilities

• Examines window and ensures quality standards have been met.
• Ensures window is free of dirt or damage before wrapping.
• Applies film of plastic wrap to both sides of finished product.
• Places completed windows in designated location for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Able to work overtime as business needs require.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training required.
• Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
• Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as deemed by management and policy.
• Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.
• Is consistently at work and on time.
• Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
• Volunteers readily; asks for and offers help when needed.
