Responsibilities
- Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.
- Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repairing the same.
- Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and OSHA rules while conducting work functions.
- Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
- Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.
- Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical units to the supervising manager.
- Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same.
- Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.
- Light building maintenance repairs (changing bulbs, painting, caulking, etc.).
- Daily inventory counts.
- Moving equipment from building to another building.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
- Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair of Material Handling equipment.
- Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to follow oral or written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
Pay
$25 per hour with an additional $1.75 per hour shift differential.
Schedule
2 positions available on 3rd shift: 10:30pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday. Overtime as needed.
