Overview And Responsibilities

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking Account Executives with experience in wound care or negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) to join its high-performing sales team. The role involves building relationships with healthcare providers, educating clients on product benefits, and promoting Rotech’s wound care and NPWT solutions.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with healthcare providers and referral sources.
  • Educate clients on product benefits, patient outcomes, and service capabilities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic territory management.
  • Promote Rotech’s wound care and NPWT solutions, along with respiratory equipment and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in other areas or fields.
  • Proven sales performer with 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales.
  • Independent and resourceful.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • CRM experience (optional).

Required Education And/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in other areas or fields.
  • Proven sales performer with 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English—both written and verbal—with physicians, patients, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate a helpful, knowledgeable, and positive attitude.
  • Interpret and respond to a variety of communication formats and instructions.
  • Apply knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME).
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively.
  • Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Stay organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Machines, Equipment And Technical Abilities

  • Email transmission and communication.
  • Internet navigation and research.
  • Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Office equipment: fax machine, copier, printer, phone, and computer/tablet.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to drive and travel regularly via personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Occasional air travel may be required.
  • Sitting, walking, standing, talking, and listening.
  • Closing vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork.
