Responsibilities
- Supervises Treatment Nurse as per scope of practice
- Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
- Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
- Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
- Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
- Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
- Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
- Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
- Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Requirements
- At least two years' experience working in Wound Care preferred
- Certified Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with required state licensure
- Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment
- Current Wound Care certification required
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in Wound Care

- Knowledge of wound care principles and techniques
