Wound Care Registered Nurse/PRN

Responsibilities

• Evaluates inpatient wounds and monitors and treats the wounds as per treatment policies and procedures.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the long term acute care setting.
• Communicates with physicians/DON/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in patients' clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse with a current Louisiana license.
• Current Certification of Wound Care.
• One year or more experience.
