Wound Care Physician

This part-time position in Erie, PA provides the opportunity to become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities while delivering bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility.
- Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation during rounds.
- Deliver modern wound management in post-acute care settings.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week (part-time).
- No work visa sponsorship is available.
Schedule
- No nights, no call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm), 4-5 days per week.
- Part-time schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week.
