About the role
Francis Marion Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, reliable Wound Care Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our care team in Marion, Virginia. This is a full-time position in a team-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Focus on the community's wound care program, working with the wound care physician
- Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers
- Provide continuing education of wound care to staff and families
- Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments
- Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN license for the state of Virginia
- 3 years nursing experience
- Completed Infection Control training
