Wound Care Nurse - LPN-LVN - PRN

Our Wound Care Nurses (will train) are central to this mission, utilizing the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care for optimal outcomes. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works collaboratively with all disciplines and provides routine care for the sick or injured in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training equips you with the tools to succeed in your role.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
- Recognize changes in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
- Prioritize nursing actions reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid LPN nursing license required.
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (will train).
- Experience with billing and coding preferred.
