Wound Care Nurse - LPN-LVN Floater - PRN
About the role
At RestorixHealth, our mission is to restore health and improve the quality of life. Our Wound Care Nurses are the heart and soul behind our work. They utilize the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse collaborates with all other disciplines on the assigned unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles and nursing theory
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
- Recognize changes in the patient's condition and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions, reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid LPN nursing license required
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- Prior experience working with wound care patients preferred (Will train)
- Experience with billing and coding preferred
