Responsibilities

Coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients;

• Participates in patient and family teaching
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel

Requirements

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
• Certification from approved Wound Care Certification course is preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Two years direct patient care experience required
• Experience in wound care preferred
