Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within 3 years of assuming role

Experience

• Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care
• Completes and documents initial and ongoing assessments
• Utilizes physical assessment and interviewing techniques
• Determines priorities for patient care needs or problems
• Performs clinical nursing skills independently
• Aids in the development of specific clinical care plans for individual patients and reevaluates care plan for effectiveness as needed
• Implements treatments as ordered
• Initiates appropriate emergency procedures as necessary
• Demonstrates competency in hyperbaric medicine
• Communication and Collaboration
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary professional staff to improve the delivery of quality patient care
• Collaborates in coordinating patient activities with other disciplines
• Communicates the patient's status and plan of care through written documentation in the patient's medical record
• Verbal communication of the patient's status to physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse
• Current “Healthcare Provider” CPR certification

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $32.18 - $49.46
• Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
