Worship Leader - Knoxville Location

Title: Knoxville Location Worship LeaderAccountable To: Worship Pastor/Knoxville Location PastorTime Commitment: 21 Hours Per Week (Part-Time) The WinAs the Knoxville Worship Leader, you win when you are maintaining and cultivating a worshipful,distraction-free environment at our Knoxville location, while also recruiting, building and developing acommunity of worship volunteers to serve and accomplish the vision of Foothills at that specificlocation. One Sentence Job DescriptionLead worship, build/maintain worship culture and build worship teams at the Knoxville Location. General ResponsibilitiesWe ask this position to do these things:- Lead worship and/or fill needed positions on Sundays and assist in weekly run-through.- Music direct on stage at our Knoxville location when necessary- Teach journey classes as needed- Lead a small group- Contribute to all events associated with and for the Knoxville location- Contribute to maryville events as needed- Assist in scheduling songs, volunteers and worship flow at the Knoxville location- Attend Knoxville specific planning, vision and creative meetings as needed- Attend worship team meetings, production meetings and any other creative meetings as needed.- Attend/Lead worship for all extra worship events at the Knoxville location.- Recruit, Build, and develop ministry leaders for the worship team in Knoxville.- Assist in the creation and development of Playback systems and routines.- Assist in Scheduling Volunteers for Knoxville worship experience- Assist in day-to-day operations of the music department.- Consistently seek to learn the latest songs. Qualifications- Loves God and cares about people.- A partner of FC who is fulfilling their partnership covenant.- Able to think big but also execute the details.- Maintains an overall healthy lifestyle physically, emotionally, and spiritually.- Self-starting - able to get projects going.- Able to work and thrive in a collaborative work environment.- Organized and able to plan 6-12 months in advance.- Good communication skills.- Strong singer and musician - preferably on piano/keyboard/guitar.- Strong background in Planning Center Online.
