Worship Leader

About the Role

The goal is to lead simple, meaningful worship that helps our church grow closer to God.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship on Sunday mornings in a way that helps people connect with God.
• Work with the praise team—schedule, rehearse, and encourage them.
• Communicate with the sound team to keep everything running smoothly during services.
• Help plan the flow of the service (songs, transitions, special moments).
• Help lead worship for special services and holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.).

Requirements

• A strong personal faith in Jesus and a heart for worship.
• Alignment with Southern Baptist beliefs.
• Ability to work with and encourage a team.
• Basic musical ability (singing and/or playing an instrument).
• Piano experience is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

Part-time role.
