Worship Leader and/or Children/Family Pastor

First Baptist Church of Pelham is seeking a full-time Worship Leader and/or Children/Family Pastor to join our staff.

About the Role

This position may be filled by either a Worship Leader, a Children/Family Pastor, or a combined role depending on the candidate's gifts and the church's needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship services with excellence, fostering an atmosphere of reverence and engagement.
• Plan, rehearse, and direct music for weekly services, special events, and seasonal programs.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive ministry for children and families, including Sunday school, mid-week programs, and outreach initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and equip volunteers for worship and children’s ministry teams.
• Collaborate with church staff and leadership to align ministry goals with the church’s vision.
• Provide pastoral care and discipleship for children, families, and ministry teams.
