World Language Teacher, 45% -- Trenton
The Trenton Elementary School is seeking a World Language Teacher to begin in August 2026.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching world languages to students in grades PK-8, contributing to a total of 45% of the instructional time. They will collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive educational experience for all students.
Responsibilities
- Teach world languages to students in grades PK-8
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching license in Maine
- Experience teaching world languages or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young learners
- Ability to adapt to a PK-8 setting
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Knowledge of current language teaching methodologies

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
