Workshop Performer

What You’ll Do

• Lead high-energy, interactive science workshops and demonstrations for elementary school-aged children.
• Travel to various schools, community centers, and event locations across the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
• Inspire the next generation of scientists through hands-on, memorable experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Kids is a MUST: Previous roles as a teacher, camp counselor, tutor, actor, or youth group leader.
• The “WOW” Factor: Outgoing, animated, and comfortable being silly and engaging with children.
• Flexibility: A flexible schedule that allows for occasional travel and variable work hours.
• Reliable Transportation: Own a reliable vehicle to transport workshop kits to various locations.

Training & Support

We provide a robust, in-house training program to ensure you are up to speed with our proven, step-by-step curriculum. You will be fully shadowed and supported by our team until you are ready to take the lead.
