Workplace Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Aid in the planning, organization, and administration of the CISPEngage program.
• Evaluate goals, objectives, and activities to recommend and establish administrative controls and improvements.
• Analyze and gather relevant data to support current and future projects.
• Manage Countywide rapid response plans and update as necessary.
• Develop and implement Countywide security standards, access control, protocols, and equipment.
• Create and manage Countywide web-based security webpage, newsletter, and communication tools.
• Interpret and apply human resources policies and procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of security plans for various departments.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign tasks for the CISPEngage program.
• Evaluate HR policies and practices related to workplace security.
• Develop and conduct Countywide security training sessions.
• Investigate and report on workplace violence incidents.
• Maintain security equipment and supplies.
• Handle requests for video and physical record reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience managing comprehensive workplace security and incident response programs or projects.
• Direct experience in workplace violence reporting, investigation, and follow-up procedures using a trauma-informed approach.
• Valid driver’s license for driving a County vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check, including CJIS background and fingerprinting.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $88,604.78 - $135,792.20 annually.

Schedule

This position works on-site at the Multnomah Building, located at 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214. The schedule may require working later hours or weekends based on operational needs.

Additional Information

As a Human Resources Analyst Senior, this position is classified as a non-represented management position and is not eligible for overtime. This position may be filled as a full-time, part-time, temporary, limited duration, or on-call position.
