About The Role
We are seeking a polished, service-driven professional to represent and elevate the Ford Retail Experience at the new World Headquarters. This highly visible role serves as the face of the brand’s flagship retail environment, seamlessly blending refined retail execution with elevated brand ambassadorship.
What You’ll Do
- Retail Store Operations:
- Maintain immaculate sales floor and stockroom standards, ensuring products are presented attractively and consistently.
- Maintain inventory levels, restock merchandise, and assist with inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Efficiently process sales transactions using the Ford retail Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy, and a smooth checkout process.
- Customer Service & Brand Experience:
- Warmly greet Ford enthusiasts and customers, serving as the primary point of contact as they enter the retail store, creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Proactively engage guests to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations based on comprehensive product knowledge and insights gained from customer interactions.
- Cultivate a strong connection to the Ford brand by delivering an exceptional and memorable shopping experience for every visitor.
- Address questions, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
- Create memorable moments that inspire repeat visits, positive word-of-mouth, and brand advocacy.
- Overcome obstacles and adapt to new challenges while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
- Adapt communication style to effectively engage a diverse and global audience.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service, ensuring the Ford Motor Company brand is always positively represented.
- Workplace Experience Support:
- Act as a point of contact for retail-related workplace inquiries.
- Partner with workplace experience, facilities, and operations teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Communicate feedback, issues, or opportunities for improvement to leadership.
- Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- Track daily sales, foot traffic, and basic operational metrics.
- Aid in scheduling coverage and shift handoffs.
- Maintain documentation and reports as required.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related retail, hospitality, or customer service experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an inquisitive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
