About the role

The Workplace Experience and Corporate Services Specialist will join a global Workplace Operations team, bringing industry best practice and novel approaches to incrementally innovate and improve the overall workplace experience. This role supports and collaborates with internal business partners to manage and execute Relativity and client events and meetings in our Chicago and other global locations. Reporting to the Workplace Operations Manager, the role focuses on planning, managing, and executing events, as well as Workplace Operations and Facilities support, with the objective of delivering customer excellence.

The successful candidate will have a track record of liaising with internal and external constituents at all levels, including C-level executives, with the ability to champion strategy and recommendations. The right candidate will have a passion for events, strong leadership, thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment, be a team player, and be extremely proactive with employees and clients, always prioritizing their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class workplace services to foster connection, collaboration, and growth for diverse employees.
  • Advance and manage a process of gathering employee sentiment and feedback to continuously evolve the workplace program.
  • Plan, manage, and execute internal events and meetings, including weekly lunches, receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, and product launches.
  • Collaborate across the organization with global Workplace counterparts, Administrative Assistants, Chiefs of Staff, IT/AV, Communications, and Creative Teams to successfully plan, manage, and execute events.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Relativity’s client experience.
  • Manage partnerships with vendors for events and catering.
  • Demonstrate superior customer service and hospitality to all clients and employees.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of an event, motivating team members to perform the same.
  • Seek out and implement new tools, communications, or workflows to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and improve the customer experience.
  • Motivate and inspire global Workplace Operations counterparts and Administrative Assistants while fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Train and transfer expertise to global Workplace Operations counterparts.
  • Support Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with ad-hoc special projects.
  • Proactively take on new, impactful initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Facilities and event management, hospitality, or client experience.
  • High degree of creativity and passion for event planning.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to grow within the Workplace Operations team.
  • Self-motivated attitude with a focus on delivering results.
  • Accustomed to delivering exceptional white-glove customer service.
  • Experience collaborating with internal partners (e.g., IT, HR, Security, Communications) to develop and implement cross-functional workplace experience strategies.
  • Deep understanding of workplace and real estate fundamentals, including knowledge of leading practices and trends.
  • Excellent influencing, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interface with C-level executives both internally and externally.
  • Proven track record in collaborating with various stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications, marketing, hospitality, or equivalent work experience.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.

This position is eligible for total compensation, which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
