About the role

Partners with Banking Relationship Managers and Advisors to identify Workplace Benefits sales opportunities (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, NQQDC, Equity, Health Benefit Solutions). Coordinates pipeline with RMs, sales teams and advisors. Develops and leverages strategies for client engagement and activities. Serves as the lead for preparation of sales materials, pricing and proposals as well as client interaction through close of sales for Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and NQDC opportunities in the over $10M market segment. Provides guidance to more junior staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Workplace Benefits sales opportunities (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, NQDC, Equity, Health Benefit Solutions)
  • Coordinate pipeline with Relationship Managers, sales teams, and advisors
  • Develop and leverage client engagement and activity strategies
  • Lead preparation of sales materials, pricing, and proposals
  • Manage client interactions through the close of sales for opportunities in the over $10M market segment
  • Provide guidance to junior staff

Requirements

  • 10 years of Retirement or Benefits experience, with five or more years in sales
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the retirement and/or employee benefits business
  • Superior sales skills
  • Series 7 and 66 (63/65) and Life & Variable Annuity licenses required (or ability to obtain within Compliance Deadline)
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
