About the role

Hallo Leipzig. Welcome to our World. Working Student (f/m/d) Transparency Services. The Market Data Services Team of EEX supports market participants in fulfilling their regulatory obligations. The EEX Transparency Platform is the central Inside Information Platform (IIP) which fulfills disclosure obligations as required by REMIT. As a leading commodity exchange in Europe, EEX develops, operates and connects the markets for global energy and commodity trading from Leipzig and 24 other worldwide offices.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the operation of the EEX Transparency Platform
• Contact with international customers via phone and email
• Incident management with reporting companies and ensuring data quality
• Support in the creation of specifications and testing of software adaptations in the context of releases

Requirements

• Ongoing enrolment at a college or university in the field of computer science, business administration, engineering or comparable fields
• Enrolment as student for at least 1.5 more years and willingness to work as a working student during that time in our team
• Availability to join the team in the office in Leipzig on a regular basis
• Affinity for technical topics and data, ideally in the field of energy trading
• Experience in requirements management and testing of software is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Necessary language skills: German (B1 or higher) and English (B1 or higher), both written and spoken

Pay

Attractive hourly wage: 15€/h during Bachelor, 16€/h during Master.
