Workforce Development Consultant
About the role
The Workforce Development Consultant is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive workforce development strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance team member skills and capabilities. This role involves assessing current workforce skills, identifying future training needs, and developing programs that foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. The Consultant will collaborate with regional internal stakeholders, educational institutions, community organizations, and workforce development agencies to identify current and future talent needs, design targeted programs, and build strong pipelines of qualified candidates. Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
Required Experience:
- Five or more (5+) years of workforce development experience
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing workforce development programs
- Experience working with educational institutions, community organizations, and workforce development agencies
- Experience working in a large, complex organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) certification
- Workforce development experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience in grant writing and securing funding for workforce development initiatives
- Healthcare recruitment or talent acquisition experience
