Workforce Business Planning Analyst

About the role

As a Workforce Business Planning Analyst, you will apply Workforce Management concepts to evaluate variables affecting workloads and forecasts, leveraging multidimensional database platforms to support forecasting processes. You will prepare and review reports and analyses to help achieve Spectrum’s financial and operational goals, analyze data trends on operational budget spend, identify cost-saving opportunities through thorough data analysis, and conduct monthly reviews of operational results to highlight emerging trends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate workloads and forecast variables using Workforce Management concepts
• Leverage Essbase, VBA, and SQL to support forecasting processes
• Create and review reports and analyses to align business activities with financial and operational goals
• Analyze data trends on operational budget spend to inform cost-saving initiatives
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through detailed data analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of business planning, financial analysis, or related experience
• Prioritize and organize effectively
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities
• Quickly identify business challenges and opportunities
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management
• Proficiency with software applications such as Word and Excel

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2+ years of business planning, financial analysis or related experience
